Rest in peace.

The Prisoner is a fitting monument to the great man, and a massive achivement, which has influenced countless TV and film dramas since the '60s, you can see it's mark on The Truman Show, The Matrix, The Simpsons, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and many more.

Rest in Peace Patrick.

"Well, he's a dead cert to get a lifetime acheivement award" said the pissed up old Daily Mirror film hack, detemined to get more mileage from his insensitive Heath Ledger joke.

I used to watch The Prisoner as a teenager in a state of utter bewilderment - mixed with fascination at such a clever programme.

RIP, number six.

I've never seen The Prisoner, but wish I had.
Do remember him from Columbo, though, both as an actor and director

Thank goodness for American Movie Classics (AMC). :)

They're streaming the original 17 episodes of The Prisoner. Check it out.
