One of the "delights" of the holiday season are the number, not necessarily quality (!!), of films on tv. I happened to come across the beginning of one recently - The Prince & Me (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337697/) - and was rather surprised to see a certain Eddie Irvine :p :

He had a brief cameo racing a BMW and, somewhat fittingly, gifted the win to the Prince :p :

How many other ex-F1 drivers have appeared in non-motorsport related films I wonder?

Does voice acting in a cartoon count?

Danny Sullivan appeared in Miami Vice once.

Ridiculous. For a start, where was the assistance from the ruling body?

Giacomo Agostini starred in "Amore Formula Due" in 1970.

OK, so he wasn't an F1 driver, but I think he might have raced in the Aurora F1 series after he'd stopped on the bikes.

Ayrton Senna had his own cartoon character.....

Although this was a childrens TV series and I don't think it made the big screen.

Not to mention that Ron Dennis was desperate to star in "Anal Intruders 4", allegedly.

And as for Max's home videos.....well, I for one didn't think doing that to a pig was either legal or hygienic.

Well, you have to be aware of "Asterix & Obelix" to understand. It's a movie based on a popular French comic series, about ancient France in Roman times. It's a French movie btw, the Germans dub everything over.

As a "funny" reference, I guess Schumacher was appropiate to use in this film.

Graham Hill appeared as a helicopter pilot in an Alistair Maclean film, I think it was Fear is the Key. Presumably this was before the Equity card he got for his speaking part in Grand Prix had expired.

Alesi was in Driven?

I've tried to forget that I ever watched that movie, so maybe I missed or forgot about Alesi being in that one.

I'm sure there must be several cameo pub scenes that Kimi would have starred in. :p :

Before the final race Stallone is walking and talking with his teammate and then hugs and shakes the hand of a Japanese guy (I think it was Alesi's manager) and then Alesi.
