Until Fernando actually drives a Ferrari there will always be these rumours.

I'm not so sure about this. On reading the comments on autoblog, I'm reminded of how well Alonso and Flavio seem to work together. It seems to me like a relationship that could out very favourable to both if they can get back onto terms like in 2005 and 2006. Moving to Ferrari might not be all it seems to Alonso, despite they're elite history and current top form. His move to McLaren certainly didn't do him any favours, unless you include "knowing to avoid McLaren in the future." :s

I think at the moment it's not primary at all, what might be happening in 2011. Heck, we even don't know, what will be going on in 2009!

2011?

We are speculating about 2011?

What happened to the 2 years in between?

2011...Are we even sure that Ferrari will be racing in 2011 based on the friction between Montezmelo and Bernie/FIA...Alonso might be racing at Le Mans for all we know by then....

I wont mind that as long as he is not driving in the F1 team...If he joins Ferrari and starts losing to Massa, then who knows what kind of whining and moaning the Tifosi will have to listen from him.

I dont get it. If FA joins Ferrari and starts losing to Massa? So you say Massa will mode to another team? Which team is that?

2 or 3 years is a long time in F1, by then FA may have lost a step or two, same for Ferrari...or even more likely, ferrari blew itself up in a big bad pit stop that consumed the whole team

In 2006, everyone thought Kimi was a killer, and proved it in 2007 with a wdc....then he went to sleep in 2008 (still think they must have not been using the ritalin right.... :o

I'm not sure what "mode" means! But it surely doesn't mean retiring and drinking lots of vodka somewhere close to the North Pole! :p :

It may happen earlier or later than 2012, as soon as Israel to be in command over Palestinian muslim, the world will end ... :p :

Well, a typo is a typo, mu humblest apologies.

But Ive never seen Massa linked with any other team, so was just wondering which team he might MOVE to.

I did hear a rumour that he was linked with Toyota.

Yes, Massa had some kind of negotiations with Toyota back in 2006, when the future of MS was unclear and Kimi had a contract. Since then, no more connections with Toy than with any other team besides Ferrari. But Massa doesn't have to worry yet about another team. ;) Two more years in Ferrari, it's a lot of time, possibly a lot can change during this. No reason to try to seek elsewhere at the moment.

Although when we are talking about Massa's perspective, then at times there have been suggestions like Vettel might join Ferrari one day, so if Alonso does it too, then it would mean Massa indeed has to go elsewhere, but at the moment it's such a distant future and isn't even worth discussing.

Honda transformed, with Ferrari firepower.
