Will the WRC chaos have a positive or negative effect on IRC ?

Positive I think. But I'm sure the financial situation will have some effect on the the IRC but nowhere near to the same extent as has happened in the WRC. Another factor to think about is the viability of some WRC rounds if sponsors withdraw and government funding dries up. This may in turn help the popularity of the IRC for fans and competitors.

NorthOne losing money, Schwarz withdrawing from promoter tender, if Eurosport wins they will merge WRC & IRC championships.

Says who? I would not be surprised if it take more time, the list of requests the promoter has to ful fill is over 100 pages long.

In 2009 the IRC is poised for greatness.

The Problem is 2010.

With the new WRC Super S2000 rules it is an open invitation for IRC teams to easily move to the WRC.

Awww, bless Tomi. You're faith in the name of WRC is quite endearing.

Enjoy the world famous 2nd Rally of Ireland with it's bumper entry, won't you.
