In the 1990 Championship, when there was class A and B, which would count for an 'overall win' on a driver's CV? Because as we all know a class B driver at the time could still take the overall championship. so in a race such as this (http://www.btccaction.co.uk/results/1990/rd9.php), where Gravett was first in class A and Cleland was first in class B, who gets the stat for race win? Both drivers, or only Gravett?

Also, the official BTCC website claims (http://www.btcc.net/html/history_driver_detail.php?id=33) that Coulthard made his only appearance at Snetterton, whereas I have information (http://www.btccaction.co.uk/results/1990/rd9.php) saying that it was actually Brands Hatch a couple of weeks later.

Can anyone help out/clarify these things for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The race win always went to the driver who finished the race first, regardless of their class. I'm sure DC only raced at Brands like you said.

I was under the impression that Coulthard had shared with Cleland in a two-driver race at some point. I definitely recall him recounting an anecdote about being on the receiving end of a shove from the notoriously aggressive Nettan Lindgren in that race...

Of the two, two-driver races in 1990, Cleland shared with Chris Hodgetts both times. Well he would have anyway, except for the car retiring in the Donington race due to a broken driveshaft from too much kerb abusing.

Thanks Iain. Maybe my recollection is wrong.

Cleland also retired from the Brands Hatch 1 hour race!

David Coulthard did not race at Snetterton in 1990! He did race in the following race at Brands Hatch, round 9.

It is all there to see on the season highlights Video!

Dare I say it, The Offical web-site AND the 1991 Media guide are incorrect!

Vauxhall only ran one car for the first four meetings. Chris Hodgetts joined at round five in the rear-wheel drive Cavalier. Clelands other team mates during 1990 were David Coulthard for one 1 round Brands Hatch, Bob Berridge for 2 rounds, Brands 1hour and Donington in September and Marcus Oestreich for the final two rounds.

I was using Autosport as my source, which has also got it wrong it seems! I should have noticed actually, as there's an image above captioning Sytner in an M3. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though, and thanks to everyone else for the information.

Would anyone happen to have the race results for round 6 that they could send me either in a scan or copy (PM me)? I can't get hold of the data for that round yet...
