I would like to know more about this car.

Does anyone still drive it who drove it?

Gvyndaf Evans drove it when JWRC allow drivers of all ages (about 2001.)..

MG Sport & Racing at Longbridge built four MG ZR Super 1600 'EX258's, and they were registered BU51 HXT, BD02 HWT, BU02 OCR and BU02 OCS primarily for use in the 2002 Junior World Rally Championship has been stated.

One car was sold to Greece, one car to the Canary Islands (but now in Ireland), one to La Reunion Islands and one is still left in the UK. There are also two spare bodyshells (one used and one new) which I think might be being built into complete cars.

I have full details of all the rally history of each car, and a lot of photographs - my own, MG Rover press department, and professional rally photographers.

Unfortunately I cannot get any acces to my files at the moment, but I am happy to post some further details over the next couple of days, if it is of interest.

The one in the UK is used by Carl/Rob Tuer, it has just been rebuilt after an accident on the Jim Clark Rally in May and was out on the recent Galloway Hills Rally. Don't know too much about it though.

The car that the Tuer's own is BU02 OCS - the ex-Natalie Barratt 2004 Janner Rallye / Monte Carlo Rallye and ex-Gwyndaf Evans 2004 Rally of the Midlands car.
