There was a rule that every crew which slow down another one gets 5 minutes penatly. The stage was veeery short and the cars made the same course but from opposite sides of the stadium and therefore any biger mistake meant penalisation. Béreš had to reverse in one "aroundthebarelturn" and after being passed by Kuzaj he didn't go through finish but directly out of stadium.

Volf had a crash on SSS but continues.

kuzaj had a big crash imediatly after the start of stage 1.

the crew is ok, but there are rumors that a few spectators are hurt...

Hello guys, just returned. I don't have more information. 1 dead and 4 injured spectators confirmed, maybe more. Rally is canceled. It was few hundred meters after the start in very fast left corner. The people probably were in restricted area but that needs official investigation.

Tragedy at the Prague Rallysprint On the first morning of today's speed test Prague Rallysprint seriously crashed Leszek Kuzaj with the Peugeot 307 WRC.
Shortly after the start, before crossing the motorway, t left turn, soared out and hit the pillar. The car was seriously damaged, the crew probably not seriously injured. but there was a serious injury a few spectators. On the ground invasion ambulances and a helicopter.


Review:
According to the latest information I requested an accident at least one dead and five injured spectators.
The competition was canceled after the accident.

It was probably group of Polish Kuzaj's fans. They were in a very dangerous place where there some crashes happened in the past (including heavy crash of Vojtěch which used to be uploaded somewhere on motorsportmad.com). It was restricted area. One man died. Another spectator is in critical condition, two heavily injured including 10-years old girl and one is slightly injured.

Why were there so many crashes there? Judging from the link you posted it looks like a reasonably easy curve?

P.S. This tragic accident is all over the Polish media now - on TV, on the radio, in the Internet - not a good propaganda for rallying :(

It is uphill with a bank inside (no visibility into the corner at all) and it tightens twice. Approach speed of WRC car is somewhere around 150 km/h and it is 600 meters from the start. Tyres are cold and not working very well in that time and moreover in december it is always slippery (humid with a temperature slightly above zero today).

Here is the link for onboards. It is SS2, 30th second in Kresta's onboard. You can see that group of people (probably) on the right side of the pole (not very good quality but You can see someone in white jacket). You can also see how slippery whole stage was.
