Marco returns for A1 Team USA in Speang this weekend.

JR Hildebrand has been called up as reserve driver.

Still no sign of Danicant

Bob, check out Robin Miller's mailbag on the speedtv site, he expands on the lack of Danica in A1GP.

Marco did quite well in the last A1GP I thought, I'm sure the seat time will help him to (re)capture some form on road courses.

haha just read it and had to laugh.

so when marcos road race results improve next year and she's still running round at the back she'll have no one to blame but herself.

Yeah, I seen that too. I wish she was running the A1GP. I think she would do quite well. It would only help her. Next year she wont be running at the back, she will be in the front. You cant base her performance on one bad weekend at Surfer's Paradise.

And I wouldnt look to much into Miller's opinion on her and Andretti Green Racing. Michael and Kim will not let her go. That would be the worst decision in all of racing to let her go. If she leaves Andretti Green after 2009 it will be by her own decision. She is only an asset to that team.

YYou cant base her performance on one bad weekend at Surfer's Paradise.

I'm not. I'm basing her performance on the whole 2008 season on road courses.

St Pete: Qualified 19th. Finished 10th
The Glen: Qualified 14th. Finished 14th
Mid-Ohio: Qualified 18th. Finished 12th
Edmonton: Qualified 16th. Finished 18th (3 laps down)
Sears Point: Qualified 5th. Finished 5th
Detroit: Qualified 10th. Finished 16th (1 lap down)
Surfers: Qualified: Last. Finished: 18th (2 laps down)

Apart from Sears Point she struggled all year! AGR gives her the oportunity to practice on road courses in race conditions during the off season. And she turns her nose up at it unless they give her more money! On her performance from this year she should be grabbing the oportunity to get the practice she so desperatly needs!
