Who would you keep Rahal or Wilson if you only had sponsorship for one car?

Depends on who the sponsor would like to see in the car. ;)

And you can bet McDonald's would rather an American.

I think they would like someone who will place the car in the winner's circle, like all sponsors.

Justin Wilson

(or Sebastian Bourdais...)

Didn't last year!

Wilson was in the McDonald's car last year because NHLR had a choice, and it was probably easier to try and sell a sponsor on paying to sponsor Graham Rahal then sponsoring a british driver most CEO's and Marketing Director's have never heard of.

Wilson or Bourdais, but if it happens it'll be Rahal.

Autosport magazine are quoted this week saying that Rahal has been signed and Wilson has been told to look elsewhere for a drive but inform the team first should he get anything.

Well Wilson is the better driver, but Rahal's head doesn't block the air intake. It's a tough call.

Rahal is 6'2" compared to Wilson who is 6'3".

If it was down to talent (which I feel it probably won't be), I would be keeping Wilson, because he is the better driver.

ESPN ranks IndyCar drivers This ESPN.com article (http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/racing/indycar/columns/story?columnist=oreovicz_john&id=3739197) ranks the best IRL drivers for 2008 as follows. Ryan Hunter-Reay was ranked as the best American driver (4th overall) which could put him in the running for the Helio Castroneves seat at Penske Racing should Helio Castroneves be sacked due to his pending tax evasion lawsuit. Should Castroneves lose he faces possible huge fines, jail time and deportation out of the USA, his right to work and live in the USA revoked. Imagine the boost to the IRL should an American land the coveted Penske seat. Hunter-Reay would win often and contend for the title immediately. Rank Driver
1. Scott Dixon
2. Helio Castroneves
3. Ryan Briscoe
4. Ryan Hunter-Reay
5. Tony Kanaan
