This past weekend in the 2008 IAME International Challenge at the Circuit of Alcaniz in Spain, Canada earned its second straight victory at the event. 2007 co-winner Michael Hogg teamed up with Columbian Tatiana Calderon and Argentinean Eric Lichtenstein to win the six-hour endurance event by one lap over Team Australia 1 and Team USA 2 - piloted by Chris Scribner, Jim Russell Jr. and Chuck Gafrarar.

Canada has been doing very well in karting over the past few years on the international level.. winning 2007's Rotax Max nations cup as well as Oulette winning the DD2 class by a 22 second margin or something like that..and coming 2nd this year.. as well as Scott Rossi coming 4th in the Rok cup.
