Mitch Mitchell who was the drummer for The Jimi Hendrix Experience died today in Portland Oregon at age 61. Preliminary autopsy listed as natural cause.

Though overshadowed by Jimi's genius playing, Mitchell's style also has a big part in rock music drumming
