Not something special.

Does anybody know which team will run/prepare the car for Steve Perez?

...and which team will run/prepare the car for Dave Weston?

Thanks in advance

nice to see sponsor boy reserving a number in an entry of another motorsport...job well done by the organisers, or whoever is responsible for that...

by the way...is it allowed by the rules?

Surprised not to see the Van Merksteijn cars entered. I thought for sure they're were going to do this rally with one or two Focus'. Also Jasper van den Heuvel is missing, so no Dutch entries this year.

well damn those organisers to hell, possibly maybe bending a little rule to let a huge global star have his pet number when he comes to play on their event. Sure it was done for him before but feck them all anyway, vile people, trying to promote their event and sport, off with their heads.

I think it would be a sign of respect towards the sport in general by both sides (rossi and the organisers) by giving Rossi a normal seed number, and would honor both sides to do that.....

but i am sick in the head so i may be wrong.

Why calling him a clown ? :s for competing in a Sport he loves very much since he was 5 ?

No thats good, but demanding a particular number makes him a clown in my eyes, a very childish move to get attention.

He does create more media interest, by entering himself, than the the whole championship........

...but this is just disrespectful.....agreed he is a clown, and Higgins, Ketomaa, Wilks etc will all beat him in their Group N cars.

Good job he's doing it for charity because he will look like a charity case in the forests. What a tit he is! :)

I expect BTR will run and prepare Perezs car as usual

Dave Westons car will be run and prepared by Ramsport as usual too :)

A clown,.....mmm, right 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, MotoGP Multiple Champion!!!

Even when Champion he has No 46, it's his trademark.

Can't believe some people - a Legend of Motorsport is competing in the WRC and they're not happy, he's the biggest name in the event. The sport needs all the promotion it can get.

Thanks. I just thought that BTR were only preparing Mitsu's these days....but I also guess he will enter with his "old" Ford, which they have prepared before.

No doubt he's one of the truly greats on a motorcycle. I also don't care if he gets the no. 46 for the rally. But I absolutely hate his circus stunts everytime he wins ... it's so immature and so childish (IMO) and that's probably why he's being called a clown.

It's his lucky number thats all, grow up, jeez. Same with Travis Pastrana, they've made it into a trademark. So just let them race.

Kinda childish to argue about who gets which number don't you think?

Indeed so Valentino should accept any given number as well?

Then blame the Organizers for giving him that number, Valentino isn't there to get attention (he's plenty of that already everyway) is there because he loves Rallying as much as he loves Moto GP, and I am sure he would've accepted any number. Like it or not the WRC is honoured to have him in Wales...not the other way around ;)

I still dont understand all this hatred towards Valentino

Dont be so sensitive paisa, it has nothing to do with hate or to not allow him to compete or something like that, but dont you think the question is rightful, during the past now and then there has been top drivers visiting the WRC those actually has broght something of value to the rally not only a famous face but no one has asked simular stuff.

P.S. personally I dont care much even he would have fresh roses to the room every morning, or clean panty hoses every day, on his "raider list". ;)

Rossi's Rally GB entry got mentioned on Radio 5 Live (a specialist sports radio station) the other day, first time I've heard them mention WRC all year, so Rossi is a big draw.

...yes but Travis doesnt have 199 on the side of his PWRC car (have much respect for Travis, as he does for the sport). Rossi is the childish one, in rallying you get a number an except it.

That could also be due to his car carrying the "BBC Children in Need" sponsorship - great to see Rossi supporting a very good cause  and hopefully getting a bit more WRC coverage in the UK.

want to get the second group-n-champion from Austria after 2000 (stohl)

moreover I think, that hänninen will also have his sponsorship for next year
whereas the situation of andi aigner is very unclear at the moment

Can't believe how much people are getting bent out of shape over a number. Gigi used to do the same thing with 25.

On the whole it is a bit of a weak entry list. I just hope the weather isn't as bad as it was on the Friday last year - I wouldn't mind actually being able to see some cars through the murk.

One crew from Lithuania will be in this rally.
Guy who plans to start in some rallies next season with Xsara WRC. Deivydas Jocius/Mindaugas Varža will be there with Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9 N4. This is first Deivydas WRC rally. So keep an eye on him. I don't think that he will push very hard but we will see. I wish him to finish.
