Indy colleges boost motorsports

Okay, I live in Indy, but this is a further indication that the motorsports community in town is growing.

Combine that with all the teams HQ'd here -- Indycar, sprint, midget, etc. -- Gasoline Alley (the street) and all the cottage industries and the drag racing community pretty much settling in suburban Brownsburg, our town is growing pretty rapidly in the motorsports scene.

Indycool is right. The industry is growing. In Brownsburg there is a new ALMS team plus the Atlantic series headquarters.

FYI, Champcar had 3 mechanical engineering students (IUPUI) on working grants through their last 2 seasons under direction of Scot Elkins, Technology Director and the main man credited for the DP01 role out.

its funny this thread is here bc after hearing about the las vegas style party at the indy track I was like I really would like to live there. Indiana is were most of my family is as well.
