Time Warner Cable in Cincinnati, Ohio just added the Versus Channel to their Cable lineup! Channel 162!

I'm betting Gary S sent them a note.

Who, me? Send a note? Oh, no, not me. <big ol' grin>

But I didn't know it had done any good until this message. How did YOU find out??? Right now it is in the Basic Digital Tier. But it is in the midst of a block of channels they call the Digital Sports Tier which costs more. I hope it doesn't become part of that tier. We'll see between now and the start of the season.

There is a subtle campaign to get people to ask for something they want. It used to be common place, but today it is too easy to b!tch and moan. We went through the same process back in the 80's to get ESPN and then ESPN2 onto cable networks so we could see some new sport called NASCAR. I think it worked out pretty well for both NASCAR and ESPN.

What? Networks expanding their markets and becoming more popular? You guys are silly that doesn't happen. The IRL is doomed remember?

jackmart, is Columbus "out", too? There are a bunch of race fans in that town and Mid-Ohio is right up the road.

I know, I been there. While I live in New England now, I was born in Columbus Ohio. Saw an ALMS race at Mid-Ohio a few years ago. I hope something can happen in Columbus, for all those who come from there and support racing at Mid-Ohio.
