I know there have been threads like this before. But now the 2008 Championships (well most of them) are now over. And champions have been crowned.
Can you list your top three drivers that you think could cut-it in the BTCC.
Please stick to new drivers. The first to list Anthony Reid will be shot!
My list:
Michael Caine
Jonathan Adam
Scott Mansell

Scott Mansell
Interesting choice? AFAIK he's done no racing for a couple of years, and hasn't done much that would suggest he's any better than, say, Jelley.

Jeremy Clarkson
Richard Hammond

If you watched 5th Gear, and the nonsense they churn out, I hardly would think they have the budget to run a Team.

They hire about an 8th of Millbrooke for what a day a week? and in turn Millbrooke get TV exposition. I don't think it would be really costing a great deal to them.
And C5 budgets, well, they were filming in a cafe last two seasons right?

I think that you're blowing one up and putting the other one down a little too much...

Still has a little bit of a point, but in reality, neither will enter, 5th gear wouldnt have a big ennough budget and TG wouldnt get away with using license payers money for it I'd imagine.

Let me guess who you are talking about?
This was just an exercise to see what new talent (if any) is out there impressing people, as I for one don't watch every class of racing!
And I think we have enough 'Bring back driver' posts before!
After Mr Reids last outing in a Touring Car, I can't see him being asked to return!

Are you talking about Donington 2004?
I cant see anything wrong with that except the fact he punted off Hodgetts but that happens alot in touring cars...
