Im sure we will know more when the cars arrive in scotland. Fastred you must be linked to the team, you've post the same link on here twice and on the main btcc forum?

does Colin Neill actually have the license needed (international) to do BTCC as he hasnt done any other national series nd he only did a few smrc races and that was years ago. could this be the 1st btcc car with a X on a yellow background (novice badge) on the back

like others have said believe it when I see it

I don't think so, not least because Colin Neill isn't one of his team's racing drivers, he's merely down as the test driver.

That 'some Indian' is Phiroze Bilimoria, he's raced in the British GT championship this year. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the BTCC.

Not sure why you bring Fariqe Hairuman up, he is Malaysian.

I only called him "some indian" as I merely didn't know his name. I'm sure he has some skill otherwise he wouldnt be racing for them.

First Indian in BTCC.

Just out of interest does anyone know where Shaun Watson-Smith is these days?

Saw Dan Eaves in the motorsportvision centre on race day in his team gear. All seems to be well for next year.

Good news that Doug Bebb is Team Manager also. Knows what it takes to take a Leon to success having worked with SSUK in 2006 I think it was.

For me, the most telling factor of all this is the return of Dan Eaves, great to see him back in the BTCC next year.

Right reidy_fan!

From what I heard the other day, I don't believe we will see them either!

Why don't you repeat what you heard for the rest of us?

Eurotech

I think that this time CVR have it all planned out well enough that they should (fingers crossed) be able to enter next season.....

Until it is confirmed... I ain't saying nothing!

If you think I am putting it in print, think again.

As I said I don't believe they will be out!

If you can't put it in "print" then perhaps keep zip altogether!

Yes, you're 'in the know', big round of applause, but it doesn't really help the thread!

Sorry if that was a bit abrupt!

Well said Andy, it is irritating when people say they are in the know and then keep you in suspense for months and people come up with ridiculous scenarios to keep things happening.

VkmSpouge
13th November 2008, 20:30
I'm not sure it is exactly progress, they already said back when they launched the team in the summer that they expected to take delivery of the first car in December. This more just trying make sure people know that they're still around. Still I hope they get both cars and run Eaves and Bilimoria.

FastRed

Its better than no news and probably just confirming that it will still be arriving in Dec. Have to keep our eyes open in mid Dec
