I've just looked at the Superpole results. It's going to be a very interesting start and first lap, well first corner actually.

I may as well post the q times.

I think its 99% sure Bayliss will win the championship at this round but hopefully we will see some good close racing.

Superbike race 1 and Supersport were both fanstastic races. What was Pitty thinking? Kudos to Josh Hayes on an impressive European debut and obviously Eugene Laverty proving that all he needs is good equipment and he is a more than worthy international competitor.

I think this is a bit of a nothing track... Nothing if dangerous..

Congrats to 'Norge' (Eugene Laverty) on his podium (reminds me of a certain Ant West last year) and to Johnny Rea on livening up the WSS championship..

Bout the only closely fought road racing World Championship on the planet this year

WSBK Race 1 was a bit of a snooze.. Mainly coz the track is so dinky.. IMO..

Not forgetting that My Roby finished top 10 in both races!!! :p :p

Nori 1 2, they're the kind of results I like. Race 1: excellent full on racing. Race 2: an example of the up and down fortunes of bike racing, good race. I'm looking forward to the final two rounds.

Roby44 - I could hear the cheering from over the ditch. Your man did well.

A great double victory for Haga. Biaggi kept up with Haga all race long but Haga always looked in control. Biaggi's and Sofuoglu's crash was scary. I'm happy both riders are OK. Troy Corser continues his good form yet that 1st win on the Yamaha doesnt come. A disappointing round for Bayliss, only 6th in race 1 and going down 4 corners before the end of race 2 while trying to win not realizing that he won the championship as Fabrizio passed Corser earlier in the lap.

WSS continues to offer the best racing this season Rea was on his own but the battle for 2nd was great.

A bit too optimistic move by Pitt, Laverty didnt run that wide and it was clear he was going to move back. The championship is open again.

Great race by Laverty and I read that he has quit the Blusens Aprilia 250GP team and looks secure a WSS ride in 2009

It was a lucky escape for Max B and Kenan after that crash, very pleased to see them both walk away with little more than bruised pride and ruined bikes.

Eugene Laverty's ride in the WSS race was - in my completely biased opinion :p - one of the performances of the season, in any class. Considering he's been uncompetitive since the end of 2006 (when he finished third in British Supersport behind Cal Crutchlow and Tom Sykes, ahead of Leon Camier - and would have challenged for the title but for missing a couple of races through injury), it was a stunning ride. Could quite easily completely turn his career around.

Great ride from Jonathan Rea as well, and nice to see Nori back on form in what's been an up-and-down season for him.

Special mention also for Parkalgar Honda, for whom Josh Hayes took a decent 10th place on his WSS debut and Miguel Praia came home 13th. There were some rather positive comments from Simon Buckmaster before the weekend about who they're considering for next year, I'm pleased they've decided to continue.
