I know they arnt on the level as craftman trucks but look at the trucks in the UK at http://www.pickuptruckracing.com they are realy good to watch. They run only on one oval at the time being but you do get 10 + trucks runnig within 0.2 of a sec with each other. The trucks are the only formular that i know that run full race conditions in the rain. Last weekend Paul Poulter ran at New Hampshire in the 40 truck he finished 25th.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick.... 12 cars booked in to race, not 12 stock cars......!!

but 12 is better than 10, and 9, and 4 and things, so its a start. Biggest grid for those cars in a while!!!

Oh i wish i could go :(

6 V8 Trophy cars booked in, CWS, Colin and James Jameson, Colin was helping james run in National Hotrods, could be the making of a very good 2 car team for CWS.
Team Networking will again enter the two cars of Duncan and Paul.
Revolution will field the same two drivers as snetterton, Tony in the #98 and Chris Richardson in the #12.

Shane brearton was to race but has broken his fingers !!!!

please beware this may be the last chance to see the V8's this year in the UK as the last two meetings at Brands and Snetterton now look highly unlikley.

and please do not chastise the BRSCC for allowing us to join with the VSR's, had we of not done so we would not of been racing at all, it has however allowed us to show that the V8's can be engineered to run on "Road Courses".
We now have renewed interest on the back of the quality of racing and the cost of getting the V8's on track mostly due to the reliability of the V8 itself.

With Seat pulling out of motor racing as a manufacturer team and the Cupra Cup being scrapped altogether. Is there any chance that the Pick Ups could forge a link with the BTCC to fill the gap?

Its clear that the Pick Ups are gathering strength, supporting DTM proves this.

Also, if this did happen, the Rockingham BTCC round could then see an oval based race. If they allowed for 2 track configurations to be used at the same event.

True! But this seasons BTCC has been pretty decent, the best for a while. Sadly i have not seen PUT since last year but can safely say if its half as entertaining as it was on the oval.......

I think BTCC / Clio's and PUT on the bill would be superb.

Having fallen foul of Abo's wit once before (and always beig cautious of shortened URL's) i was waiting for someone to try it first. Oh and by the way, you've just been RickRolled!
