Virus? problem

I have a problem with my PC. I get the following warning: Backdoor.Win32UltimateDefender.gen
but when I try to remove it, I get the message that Windows has to reboot.
After rebooting, the message: Backdoor.Win32UltimateDefender.gen appears again. If I try to remove it, the rebooting process repeats itself.

I think this thing got into my PC when I was watching the quals last night on a webcast.

Can anyone help, please.

It's a fake anti-virus programme. I've found some removal instructions halfway down this page:

Thanks Dave - as I said, I think I got it last night when viewing quals on the webcast.
