Also, a quote from MarathonMan from another board:

"Pruett's team is flying back to Indy to work on the Rolex 24 car (backup old Riley with approved GA bodywork).
Hauler leaving track shortly to head west to Indy.
When hauler arrives, pack up with backup, return east on I-80 to Jersey.
Arrive Sunday morning (8 a.m. warmup uncertain), but they will be ready to go for the race.
Scott is here at the track."

Your link send me to some general motorsports page.
But I hope that Scott will be allright for the qualy and the race and I hope that he'll win the championship.

Thank you!

Pity that Scott may lose the championship, but good that he is alive.

I was at the track a couple weeks ago and had concerns about the last turn and the pit entrance. It's fast to start with. They run downhill under the bridge and into a banked fast right hand sweeper. I've seen two reports the DP's are hitting 145-150 through the middle of the turn heading onto the front straight. Pit in starts in the turn. What they may need to change is the concrete curbing that seperates the pit lane from the main track as I've read most of the cars are taking at least two wheels over the concrete and seeing a lot of tank slappers and cars hitting the outside runoff area.

I definitely plan on spending some time outside turn 12 with the camera on sunday. I think this and the kink after the crest of the hill on the back straight are going to be the signature turns at the track for the really fast cars. If DP's are hitting 145, ALMS and Indy cars are going to be rocket ships through there if they ever get them on track here.
I've heard rumors of ALMS for 09 if they feel the track will actually be ready for them next season. It's basically 3 weeks old and they only broke ground 11 months ago.
