Don't know about Dave Orrick, but Don Barrow is alive and kicking in Macclesfield & still selling the 'Don Barrow Light'. His web site http://www.donbarrow.co.uk is well worth a visit & besides having a wide range of navigation equipment for sale has a fascinating autobiography section.

Think he's still President of Garstang & Preston MC, his book Night Moves sells for over £100 on fleabay.

Think he now lives up near High Newton area in Cumbria.

We once were using a company who prepared cars for the Vento Challenge. Its name was Gemini Motorsport, and was owned by a South African guy called Andre Webber (or Similar ) they also did gears and drive shafts for F1 and Cart, and he once said to me "They tell me in motorsport you are either a king or a c**t,And let me tell you i have never met a king yet"
Dont know if the company is still going
