Not the chocolate versions, but real mushroomy truffles.

Anyone in forum land eat them?

I did recently, in fact, in a restaurant that I ought not to have eaten in as it was really too expensive for me. I think that, like caviar, truffles are utterly overrated.

You mean the truffles that go for thousands of pounds, euros and dollars?

No Hazell, I don't :p :

Are you going to train Naburn and Kipper to be truffel dogs?

Good luck to them in selling them. I wouldn't bother keeping them to eat!

No, but it was an interesting read.

We're looking for a way to get planning for our land without a fight (it's designated agri only) and truffles occured to me as perfect. They grow on hazel (no jokes - they're wearing thin :p : ) and I grow hazel already.

Anyway, the mice keep pinching my nuts :p :

God no.
I struggle to get them to sniff anything that's not first been through a fox, cat or slaughterhouse :mark:

Hilarious.

I'm actually quite tempted to now dig up the garden and see if there's anything there :p :
