I read with interest the 1986 Hungary report republished this week in Autosport. Looking at the results I was intrigued by how many of the grid have a son or daughter or nephew racing today. I have filled in what I know however I am sure some of you will know of others. It looks like just over 34% have siblings who have tried or are trying.

Larry Perkins and son Jack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Perkins_%28racing_driver%29)

Larry Perkins (born March 18 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_18), 1950 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1950)) is a former racing driver (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racing_driver) and current V8 Supercar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V8_Supercar) team owner from Australia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia). He was born in the small town of Cowangie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowangie%2C_Victoria) in Victoria (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_%28Australia%29). The son of racing driver Eddie Perkins (winner of the 1955 RedeX Round Australia Trial), Larry developed a love for cars from a young age. From racing in Formula One in the 1970s, to driving in Australia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia) in V8 Supercars. He retired from driving in 2003, aged 53, and now owns his own V8 Supercar team. He is well known for his very outgoing and humorous personality. His nickname is "Larrikin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larrikin) Larry".

 but what about cousins

Fabian Coulthard (born in Burnley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burnley), England (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/England)) is a v8 supercar driver and cousin to Formula One Driver

Wasn't it Toby that got caught with a prositute or done for curb crawling???

Lost his ride didn't he?

Man if only he worked for the FIA he could have been head.

Cousins would be young Paul Diresta.............Franchitti cousin.

No, that was Tomas, who as a result of this "ride" lost his ride as test driver for the Jaguar F1 team.

The last I saw of Toby was in the short-lived German V8 Star touring car championship in the early 2000s.

Instead of being head, he was only given it ;)
