nice video.
I have to admit the sound difference is annoying - I hope they go back to turbos...
As far as performance - the Champcars look a little faster - but nothing radical - I doubt the average viewer would care...
The IRL cars are actually easier to follow and differentiate on the track -
The IRL cars do not look quite as sleek - but the average viewer probably doesn't care....
It would be nice to see a little more power so they are a little more twitchy coming off the turns...
Basically, it is an interesting video but Indycars are what we have now so we need to focus on improving the IRL breed rather than pining for the Champcar.....

I'm not disagreeing for the sake of it but I thought that the race was a total bore. The speed difference to me was very obvious. They looked like they were doing 50mph. When they had a couple of shots of PT it made for good viewing but other than that it was abysmal.
I do agree that the cars are easier to identify. The one thing apart from Eily Lilly is that the logo's are easily seen.
It would be great if George would in the time period between developing the new car bought or helped lease the CHAMPCARS for road and street circuits and have the odious IRL Dallara (sic) for the ovals.

What they heck, it would only cost another $24 Million or so for the chassis and engines. "George" should do it!!!!! It would make is all feel so much better about the co-joined series.

Where do you get the figure 24 million? The engines and chasis' are already available. Were any sold at the auction?
