UK's Tom Gladdis goes flag to flag in capturing the 1st race of a doubleheader
weekend at Portland. Alex Ardoin and Billy Goshen round up the podium.
Joel Miller dsepite a 22nd finish, re-takes the points lead after Charles Hall
was hit from behind during the start. Miller had also accident damage, but during the yellow, his crew manage to get his car repaired enabling him to coast to the points lead. John Edwards had mechanical problems after 6 laps while starting 2nd. And hats off to Kristy Kester as the top female finisher missing out of the podium.
After a disappointing performance in Saturday, John Edwards made amends as he wins race 2 and becomes the 1st repeat winner in 2008. Tom Gladdis winds up in 2nd with points leader Joel Miller in 3rd extending his lead in the points. Charles Hall finishes 4th.
