It's terrific that Indycar has the TV announcers doing the streaming video coverage of Qualifying in Edmonton, but I'm wondering why at the end of the sessions they weren't focused on cars on track and who was on the bubble? Instead we got to hear Scott Goodyear telling us about why Danica needs to get the car working better on the bumps as the clock ran down to zero in the first session. They just sort of offhandedly said who the top six were, completely removing any small sense of drama. Where's Varsha, Hobbs and Machett when we need them?

excuse me, it's the Indy Radio Network team doing the announcing, not TV...

Too bad Walker and Tracy didn't know the rules well enough to know that in Indycar you can't count on getting laps at the end.

What happened with PT was he passed what was the timing line before time ran out and kept running. What is really too bad is that Marty Roth is allowed to drive and ruin peoples runs and get in the way.

The qualys are done by the TV crew, their usual TV crew is in ORP.
