David Pinkneys 2006 Integra is for sale in Autosport despite it having been bought by Jason Hughes and the two A-Tech Alfas are also for sale which is probably why we havent seen Team 48 yet.

Also, Alan Taylors Integra is also for sale which might give a clue as to who will get the seat in the second Robertshaw Chevy........

I thought there were only five Integras? The Jordans have two (Neal/Howell 2005 cars); Pinkney's is Dan Eaves' 2005 car; then there's the two 2006 builds which are now with John George and Alan Taylor?

The Alan Taylor car is for sale now, but I don't think it's available until the end of the season.

Hughes hasn't got an Integra. It was a Kartworld liveried Civic that was seen. When I posted the other thread I'd read it was an Integra but it turned out it was just the old S2000 Civic he has.

I did say "apparantly" when I initially posted the thread.

A BTC-spec Civic. I recall seeing a photo somewhere a while back, I think.

Isn't it the old Lego Star Wars Tom Chilton car?

Jason did/does own a Super 2000 Honda Civic Type-R. It is the car that was raced by Richard Marsh and Jay Wheals for Team Varta in the BTCC in 2004.

I always thought the old S2000 Civic looked better than its BTC-T counterpart, which goes to show that looks don't equate to speed.

My mistake, it was a S2000 Civic. Does anyone have a photo, or can find it somewhere?

The S2000 Civic looked just like the road-going version to me. The BTC version at least had the massive rear spoiler to make it look a bit more racey.

That's the thing, I preffered the road-going version without the rear spoiler, which is why I liked the S2000 version, it simply looks cuter than the BTC version.

I think the lack of a rear spoiler was its downfall but it did get a few points results in the ETCC in 2003 with Andre Couto at the wheel.

John George also had one for the first half of the 2004 season but switched to the Peugeot later on.

when did Jason buy it?

The car Couto and GR Asia had was different though, more competitive too. This one's originally an ex-Synchro/Barwell car from 2002-03 that was upgraded I believe. According to the advert for the car (which I had to find via cache on Google), it's now been sold.

So its just an upgraded Production Class Car?

Eurotech

John Georges car was an ex-GR Asia Honda so I thought that the Varta car would have been the same.

John George's car was built up by Mardi Gras Motorsport as far as I'm aware. The two Synchro/Barwell cars were split at the end of 2003 and one ended up in Britcar, while the other went to Varta.

But Jason Hughes was entered with a Honda Integra on the official entry list, so it wasn't just because of Alfa Fans posts.
