Very disappointed. Big Jimmie fan myself.

he got snookered by his ex-teammate again, Kyle went high and made the pass, although I was hoping Jimmie would've taken Kyle out and Harvick pass them both to win

I like to think that JJ got beat by a better driver last night. LOL. Kyle is having an awesome season and one reason is that he can drive this car of today better than most other drivers on the circuit today.

agreed- Kyle has been generally brilliant this year- has run rings around Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin- if he doesn't win the championship thanks to the stupid Chase thing then there will be no justice- go Kyle

did I see the crowd applauding at the end of the race??

wow, I'm an 18 fan too. I need to work on my comedy... "Johnson comes up short" on nascar.com, maybe i'm the only here that finds that funny? Not a big jimmie fan myself (not that there's anything wrong with that).

JJ will come up short in his goal to get the 2008 Cup Championship
it will be Kyle Busch as the 2008 Cup Champion if he keeps running like he has been :)

I'll be very shocked and disappointed if he doesn't win the cup this year. I don't think I'm going to be shocked or disappointed :)

I see a growing support for Kyle these days, new fans or…….people who are coming to terms with his immense ass kicking talent.

Agreed, I've met a number of Kyle fans in the last 2 months. Probably didn't even know his name last season. But not only do they recognize him now, he's one their favorite drivers. In many ways he "breaks the mold" as a "star" athlete, and fans go for that stuff. For the casual fan that's not part of Junior nation, Kyle Busch is the real deal. Whether he's a one-season wonder though, it's hard to say. Based on his exciting (if crazy) driving last year in Chevy's, I'd say he'll be one to watch for a long time to come.

Kyle still annoys the heck out of me, and I do NOT enjoy seeing him win every week.

However I am giving some credit here... the combined efforts of Gibbs Racing, Kyle, & his crew chief, have givin him a fantastic car almost every week. All of the other top drivers have spent plenty of races with poor handling, but I can't recall a single race where Kyle's car was anything other then fast.

And this is the chronicly underperforming #18 team, worst of the Gibbs stable, in thier first year running Toyota.

Arghh.
