Yeah, valve and wedge have both been quiet lately.
Hope valve makes it out just fine.
My grandpa said the secret to a happy life was to stay out of the clutches of doctors and lawyers, but sometimes that is not possible.

Cheers Tazio. Nice touch.

Valve is a legend alright. He would be betting his sig all over the place after today's quali.

And nothing would make him happier than to come home and watch Mark win his first GP. Well, maybe aside from Ant getting a contract for next season :)

Get well soon Valve.

What the hell is wrong with you? :(

Anyway, I'll bet you a sig.
Webber will get a DNF! If not, you get to choose my sig and vice versa 'til the next GP.

All the best Valve.
I am supposed to have both an MRI and a CT soon. Supposedly a small spot on one lung. Doc isn't worried and neither am I. H--l I survived ten years racing pro in the 60's!
Anyway Valve go get em!

Had the CT on brain and ultra sound on my neck on thursday - will have MRI and three other procedures tomorrow. And my wife won't lend me her laptop for tonight - so I'm stuck with the channel 10 broadcast which starts at 11.15 pm.

Yeah!! not my day. It will be just my luck to miss seeing Mark on the podium tonight. :(

Yeah, valve and wedge have both been quiet lately.

Ooops just noticed this thread.

Glad that things are OK.

We may have differences in opinion but I enjoy the debates and still have great respect for - you should take that as a compliment. There are some members who's respect I have of them has dropped downhill rapidly over the past week or so but I rather keep thoughts private.

It will get heated at times, we believe our opinions are right and sometimes its best to step back, cool down, a new day and a new discussion and hopefully less heated.

Afterall, we unites us all is the love of our sport.

OK, I'm home again. I have a flying saucer in my heart and an X-Ray to prove it. ;)

Watched the first lap on the telly last sunday, but when Mark spun, and it was already 11.30, and I was really, really tired, I switched off the Telly and went to sleep.

I lost that bet against you. Mark didn't get a DNF, but close enough, right?

Anyway, glad you're fine and you better post a picture of that X-ray.

The medical world never ceases to amaze. Kinda like F1 but much quieter.

Be well. Enjoy the bed baths and do what the nurses tell you to do.

Strange how your sig has always reminded me of a beating heart :bounce: , just can not be still, and now this.

I hope this is problem solved, once and for all.

many many years ago, I once had a very young and very cute nurse ask me if I wanted a bath, and I said I did not feel like getting up, and she laughed and said it could be done right in the bed and I should not need to worry about "getting up", saying it with a very knowing grin and a wink. So I could no longer resist her obvious invitation. A few minutes later, in walked a sweet lady about 45 years older than me, and 200 lbs bigger than me, and in very cold unfriendly fashion, gave me a bath in the bed--over before I knew it!!

And that sweet nurse was right, I did not need to worry at all about getting up......
