After reading fousto's post on possible Israeli-Irani war, I went looking for news and commentary on the subject. This is the first item in Google World news at the moment:

Absolutely disgraceful reporting. Note how the author attributes the "rampage" to a bulldozer in the first few paragraphs, as though the bulldozer did it all by itself. This, my fellow forumers, can only be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to minimize and obscure the real story, that of crazed man with a deadly weapon. The author then goes on to describe the event as a terrorist attack, following in the very next line with an admission of no evidence of motive.

What a tool. :down:

Notice who the news service is in the link name. You expected quality journalism from them? The Daily Sport has more believable stories than that lot (only just though ;) ).

This story has confused me, how fast can a bulldozer go? Or did he kill people by shooting them? :confused:

There's very little serious journalism around at this moment, the rest is only dilettantism.

There was a story on the radio about the size of fish someone had caught.. followed by an apology from the presenter and that it must be summer!

Not sure really, but I bet we could find out from the bulldozer advertiser listed above on this thread;

'Compare Prices, Features & Save Find the Best Deal Today! '
Bulldozers.BuyerZone.com

Maybe the fellow got a good deal like Tim McVeigh did before he blew up that truck at Oklahoma City in 95'. 'Ryder. We're there when you need us.' ;)

It wasn't a bulldozer, it was a front-end loader. Those machines can move surprisingly fast.

Several parts of the attack were caught on camera as the BBC has an office on the street where it all took place. Someone also shot a video with his cell showing the terrorist going what seems to be around 45KM/h. The street in which all the mayham commenced is pretty jammed at those hours which explains how he flattened so many cars and flipped several more.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuoQOMLJA44 - I warn you this contains graphic images of the terrorist being shot by a police officer.
