Time limit

Is there a minimum number of laps that have to be run before the 2 hour time limit? What happens if that minimum is not met? If the race starts and a 1 hour 59 minute red flag happens on lap 2, what stops the outrage?

I don't think the red flag time counts towards the two hour limit. I'm thinking of the Euro grand prix last year, and the full 60 laps were completed, and Alonso crossed the finish line at 2 hours 6 minutes. That's my guess.

As above. Time stopped under a red flag does not count. It's the amount of time spent running that counts, not the time since the start.

- If the race is "suspended" that time is added on the end of the two hours.
- half points are awarded if more than two laps are completed but less than 75% race distance.

I think that's theoretical, in as much as the clock keeps running (you don't suspend a race 1 hr in and then reset it when the race restarts) and the race is not over.
