Go Corser! Man, he's overdue a win. The last 2 rounds have been the closest he's looked to rediscovering his mojo for a long time and it would great to see another race winner this year. Laconi has been fast in most sessions for I'm hoping for a miracle and see him up the pointy end. And Smrz has once again impressed in quali and practice, heres hoping he can convert it into a race result.
Parkes has again been pretty dominant in practice and qualifying but he really needs to make it stick to get to the front of the championship queue because Pitt and co. aren't going away. Mark Aitchison has again impressed in qualifying and like Smrz, hopefully he can get a strong race result to make the most of it. Also interstingly, Arne Tode rode a Triumph last round into the top 10 but this weekend on a Honda he is currently 28th. Make of that what you will.

It will be a great race to watch. The battle of the Troys will be awesome. The man to watch will be Nitro IMO. I think he will carve his way through the field. I don't think he will win, but he will be the entertainer.

Poor Roby, almost got to SuperPole..
ALMOST SUPERPOLE..
Missed Superpole for a breath for Roby Rolfo, pilot of the Team Hannspree Honda Althea, in this second day of tests on the Holy circuit Monica of Adriatic Misano. Roberto began its turn "swift", using pneumatic novelties to be able lower further its time, when met, actual on its trajectory, a slower group of pilots, ready to I return in lane stand; lost so a lot of time and the possibility of to qualify itself for the superpole. Roby tomorrow from the seventeenth square on the grill of departure will leave.
Roby Rolfo: "Really I am displeased of not to to be succeeded to enter in superpole, it would have been deserved! We have working since yesterday in the right direction obtaining enhancement costing. Our times would have allowed to be us in superpole; unfortunately I met "traffic" in track, actual at the end of shift, while I was improving me! Tomorrow darņ the utmost like always, and also of more, to be able to recover more possible positions already from the first phases of the competition! Farņ of the mine better to make to amuse the numerous boys of the Fan Club than tomorrow will arrive here to Misano for to be a fan"!

What a great race we saw in Superstock 1000. Great fight between the Italians. Incredible that Xavier Siméon was 5th with a broken collarbone on 3 places. Yes, I am happy with his performance and that is leading the championship after this round. Congratulations for Alessandro Polita too with the victory. What a crash for Matej Smrz.
Misano is a Ducati circuit as Ducati won 25 of the 32 races in SBK until this weekend. I am hoping for exciting races, but I think the Ducati's will be too strong for the rest.

Wow, that was a great Race 1 for the SBK. Well done to Max, and a great comeback for Bayliss. Corser is riding like his old self again, god stuff. I have a feeling that Bayliss will switch to a softer tyre for race 2, and be more involved in the fight for the win. Great Stk1000 race. Roll on race 2

What a great SBK race. Great droven by Neukirchner, probably a future world champion. Corser was good and Bayliss had a strange race. Pity for Biaggi that Fabrizio took him out of the race. Great 9th place for Nakatomi and the first points for Shuhei Aoyama. From 9th until 13th place, it was a Japan cup. :p
World Supersport was good, but not so close as other races. Australian drivers made a lot of mistakes, for example Holland, Brookes and off course Parkes. Pitt is the new leader in the championship.

Very nice SBK races. looks like the BMW contract did Xaus good. Other riders need to be near the front in all the races if they want to take it to Bayliss for the title
SS was OK, nothing special, looks like after a slow start Ten Kate is back in control
