Other than Petrol and Diesel, what other fels are used in racing. Especially in Touring and Sports car racing.

Bio ethanol was used by Tech Speed Motorsport in 2005 and 2006, and later in the year ('06) was also used by West Surrey Racing for Team RAC.

John George ran an LPG-powered Peugeot 406 in 2004.

So there's already been quite a bit going on in the pioneering BTCC!

Beyond diesel, gasoline, alcohol, and liquified gas, pretty much nothing.

Exotic blends were used decades ago, but except for possible rules bending or vintage racing, none are now known to be used, although exotic gasoline blends are still available commercially so they must be used somewhere. Perhaps in unlimited tractor pulling, or something still fairly unlimited.

And, if funding permits, a 3rd car running on biomethane.

Didn't Fiona Leggate run a Bio-Astra?

I know that a lot of cars (certainly in rallying) run some rocket fuel type stuff (about 106 octane compared to the 95/98 that goes in road cars). The fuel is actually outlawed but people still seem to use it. A few years back 6 top cars were DQ'd from a rally because they refused to give fuel samples, it's suspected that they were all running illegal fuel. Of course, as far as I'm aware, this is all speculation.

The enviro-fuels are not just to be eco friendly, Take SEAT.

The Leon TDi is a marketing excersize and a performance advantage.....
