I am collecting European Rallycross Cards. Do you have the same hobby as me, Salist? Or do you have some cards that you will change for other cards? If yes, we can maybe exchange. :)

very impressive of Marcus! But again there is a Cit in front of him. This time driven by Kenneth hansen. Considering Kenneths record Bosse shouldn´t be that disappointed though.

"Magic Marcus" set the fastest time of the 2nd heats and is with 3 points on pole – currently. Only Kenneth Hansen can grab the A final pole away from him now, but only if Kenny drives the fastest time in the 3rd runs.

Hi, I was in Maasmechelen and in Valkenswaard.

I must say in both weekends Kenneth Hansen had so much luck...

Maasmechelen was not so special, not much overtaking because the silly joker lap. Hansen had a lot of luck that Andréas Eriksson had technical problems in the final race. He made a spin, but due to other problems from his rivals he was on the podium. Isachsen was outstanding during the whole weekend and Morten Jespersen was very fast with the older 206 (great livery he has).

Valkenswaard was an absolute crashweekend, especially on Sunday. There were so much red flags. Jochen Coox, Michaël Jernberg, Olivier Anne had heavy crashes. In the B-final in Division 1, Kuypers drove to the wall and there was Morten Bermingrud. Bermingrud goes over the wall (!) and is still in the hospital in Eindhoven (NL). It is sure he won't come back this year in rallycross and I think this is probably the end of his career. It was a very very big crash. Because this and the riders won't drive anymore (read: Kenneth Hansen, Jean-Luc Pailler and Sverre Isachsen) there was no A-final in Division 1. Strange that there were full points for them.

My photos from Valkenswaard will follow this weekend, I have also a photo from Michaela Kalná, daughter of Jaroslav Kalný, who rolled after the first corner.

If someone is interested in more news, postcards or a poster from Marcus Grönholm with Andréas Eriksson (Swedish Rally Champion in 2003), please send me a Private Message or say it here. ;)

How could I have missed this thread so long?
I was at Belgium and Holland too. Maasmechelen was pretty exciting with the every changing weather conditions. All the carnage at Valkenswaard spoiled that weekend a bit for me. I made 'a couple' of photos there too, I don't know if anyone is interested.

Czech Republic and Germany are next for me. No jokerlaps there, I hope they won't repeat the Dutch race.

In the Czech Republic there are more possibilities to overtake, which you haven't in Belgium and the Netherlands. Why you didn't say you were there Lousada? We could have a nice talk. Rallycross is over for me this year, I do only ERC in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Looking at the video of last year there was plenty of carnage in the Czech Republic too, Bermingrud rolling, Hansen not in the finals and a couple of rolls in the lower classes. It will be great nevertheless :p

Sorry, I didn't know you were there. I just saw this thread yesterday. I'm considering visiting some rallies in Belgium now the rallycross season is almost over, maybe I'll meet you there?

Sorry, no more rallies or rallycross for me this year due to my very small budget. I hope you have a lot of fun and probably we can meet next year.

European rallycross champion (almost double in the moment) Tomáš Kotek will start on Czech Rallysprint Vsetín on 25th October! He will use same car he is used to - Civic Type-R gr.N. There is a possibility of switching discipline for next season :)
