Why? Is Sonny retiring and taking up fishing, or did he have a glassfibre repair kit.

What a great days racing in the sunshine (mostly anyway)... haven't enjoyed watching "OUR" cars racing so much in ages.

Hope the Rev cars arent too badly damaged... was a steep learning curve for all but what fun... photos will be posted asap onto my website but will post full access details... and dont worry, there will be seperate albums for the series as a whole and then one for Team Networking.

Great to be back, lets hope we can fix everything (cheaply) for next time. :D

Mmmm dont mention Tyres, Your right we had 3 punctures, CWS had 3, Shane had 1 and your Tony had 1! plenty of coffee tables available...

I would also like to add, Miguel was a credit to Revolution at the weekend!!!
he was a real star behind the wheel at Brands, i saw his car break away from him in my mirror and at the speed we were travelling, he had no chance to catch it...infact only a couple of laps earlier, my 31 car did the very same thing and more by luck it straightened its self up again!

I dont believe i would be wrong in saying, All of us at Team Networking would really luv to see Miguel back with Revolution and the VSR V8 Trophy Series for the next rounds!!!

At Brands Team Networking suffered, 3 punctured tyres, 1 Burnt out clutch and we hope only a blown head Gasket?

And i carnt Fish!

Excellent days racing, I'm still grinning even now :D . Starting to get used to the car, had an excellent battle in race 2 with rob deville in his ford puma sillouette. Even managed to get through race two without a puncture (I'd had a puncture in both practice and the first race.)
The only downer on the day is the problems with the 31 car. Plenty of time to sort it out and get some more miles in the car.

and I don't want to fish.

Thanks Duncan and Paul and everybody there at Brands who made me feel home once again! Had a wonderful day even if it didn't end the best way for me.

Was a bit worried with only 15 mins to get used to the car and track but first race went goot and after it I was feeling more confortable, started to get the feel of it, also due to the tips of Colin, my teammate Tony, Duncan, Phil and my crewchief Kevin. Was having tons of fun on second race battling with Duncan and Tony, a real blast. But suddenly lost the rear out of paddock turn. I still dont understand how cause I was not pushing and usually had good grip there. The rear was really loose out of druids (finally got the name of this one! lol) and also going in to last turn but in that first one I didn't have much problems.

Anyway I must say its a real fun drive those V8's, I guess they are fun to drive anywhere, on the oval, on the roadies I bet even in dirt! So don't keep your V8's in the garage they will give you a blast anywhere you drive them!

Special thanks to Tony for picking me up and giving me the ride back to the airport! :) and everybody for being so helpful.

Sounds like you folks had an interesting day at Brands - glad everyone returned safe and sound despite the dramas. I only wish I could have been there...

Ah yes, I used to be a dab hand at fishing. ;) Oh, and I still have some chunks of V8 bodywork in my garage. ;)
