There is a chance of rain for tomorrow, that should be excellent as all the races yet were in dry weather this season. :)

What an amazing lap by Max, well done. Bayliss was great as usual, and Checa was brilliant again, and Nitro is just amazing. I loved the interviews, especially Max's use of the 'F' word. I think he will get some ribbing from his team and other riders. The SSTK 600 race was a nice battle as well. Can't wait for tomorrows race.

It's obviously a lot worse than Nori's shoulder. ;)

Or Nori is taking better drugs for the pain, after all, he's flying :)

The Superstock 1000 race was so great. For me, Giugliano was the star of the race. Sliding, sliding, more sliding, overtaking in difficult corners.

Results:
1 Brendan Roberts (AUS - Ducati)
2 Davide Giugliano (I - Suzuki)
3 Xavier Siméon (B - Suzuki)

My countryman Siméon holds the lead in the championship, 10 points before Brendan Roberts.

You can follow all the races live with a live-streaming on the official SBK site. ;)

Superstock steals the show for mine every round.

Its the fact that some of those guys are learning their craft but are so damn fast. Anything can happen!

So many different lines and just when you think the race is blown to bits the guy out front with a clear lead throws it to the weeds.

My countryman Brendan Roberts has a lot to prove, perhaps if not for the wrist injury last year he would be official tester at Ducati MotoGP.

Simeon is on the cards to move to the Alstare Supers team in the next 2 years.

Congratulations to the Aussies, they drove the first European driver at 10 seconds!

Also mention that Didier van Keymeulen took his first WSS points with an excellent 7th place. :)

And what to say about the championship standings in WSS? So close.

Only a pity that I couldn't see most of the race due to a thunderstorm here. :(

Is Corser going to win his first SBK race for Yamaha? Would be nice :p

no don't think so; Corser passed Haga in the lap that the red flag went out

I'm not convinced it was Aitchison who caused the WSS turn one carnage. His bike has a black front and the trouble maker's bike was all white which leads me to suspect Arne Tode. Counts for nothing though as he crashed out anyway which was a shame.
I'm so stoked for Nori getting a double with his injuries. He has been so fast this year, just sometimes too fast for his tires! :) I'm equally gutted for Corser and Parkes though. Both looked set for wins (Troy's especially long-awaited) but for some bad luck to cost them. They were strong results though.
And how good is the WSS championship! 7 points cover the top 5! Just amazing.

Here are photos from the crash in the first corner of the WSS race.

They are thinking that Frenchman Sylvain Barrier is the trouble maker.

Yep, our Eurosport coverage suggested it was Tode who caused the accident.

I missed the restart, as they were covering Le Mans plus this weekend's BSB races and cut the WSS as a result (will catch the race on the website later, but I know the result).

Tragically, as a result of the crash Tommy Hill's re-broken his right leg, he was one of those brought down by the wayward Triumph:

This was his first event back after seven months out.

Nori :s mokin: I'm still :D Great to see Troy Corser so stoked after race 2. His confidence will have gotten a big boost and I don't think he cared that he was 2nd, he was right there with Nori and in with a chance for the win had the race not been shortened. I enjoyed all the races and hope SKY tv will continue to give us the superstock races.

Aitchison went into the SBK commentators booth a minute or so before the Superbike race 2 start and told them what happened. It was Tode that came in like that. Aitchison saw him and tried to avoid him but couldnt.

Shocking luck for Hill. Completely no fault of his own after an extremely impressive qualifying. Hopefully the extended layoff doesn't damage his career path too much.

That's what I thought. Did Green or Martin make mention of this because I didn't hear it.

I watched all the races on Sunday night, and thought they were all cracking races. I hope the next round is as good. I want Bayliss to win the title, but, Go Nori

Aitchison spoke on air a minute or so before the start of the sbk warm up lap. they apologised for blaming him for the crash and then they gave him a mic and asked him to tell them what happened.
