Anyone else watching this? Great footage even if we have to put up with Mike Brewer. The full on board lap with Guy Martin in the preview programme from last year's races (fastest ever filmed) was just awesome! After seeing the Northwest 200 coverage on BBC last weekend am just full of admiration for these guys courage and commitent!

I am watching it too.

Isle of Man TT has the history but the NW200 is much more entertaining IMHO because there are races rather than time trials

I'd have to agree with preferring the NW200 from that point of view (did anyone catch the live races on BBCi the week before last? If only I could have told anyone in time) but there's something about the TT that makes it so watchable - and that's from a confirmed four-wheeler fan. ITV4 have certainly given the races a good home, even if the BBC again have the highlights of the whole week on Sunday...

As a little side interest, I'm watching the Shell petrol station that features fairly prominently on the TT course to see just how much the price rises over the week ;) - on Saturday's programme it was 117.9p...

You sad ******* Stoo :p : Now I'll have to look out for that :D

MHaven't seen any coverage yet as I find that 9 is a nomansland sort of time when I just don't watch telly. Might end up watching it on the catch up thingy if it's on there (believe it is).

What about Aussie Cameron Donald on the TAS Suzuki coming over here and showing the Brits the way round.

I thought the Brits would be used to it by now, it seems to be a common thing :p :

It's been a pretty decent programme - better than ITV's attempts at BSB coverage

Also watching the 100 Greatest TT moments which follows it.

For those with SKY - there is another TT coverage programme on BBC NI (can't remember if it's on 1 or 2) each evening at about 10.30pm

Yup, the Aussies really showed us the way when we played them at rugby :p : Oh and if I was an F1 boss I'd definately be looking to sign Mark Webber ahead of Lewis Hamilton ;)

Amittedly it's a bit different on bikes.

By rugby, I'll assume you mean that chaotic game of Union and not the superior game of League. :D And correct me if I'm wrong, but in our last encounter, Australia beat England in Soccer as well!! Ouch!

I love the IOM and the Irish road racing series. We sadly get to see bugger all of it which is a real shame. Clearly the bravest/craziest riders in the world. I hope to be able to see it in the flesh some day. It would be fantastic to have an equivalent in my country but it would be so over-regulated with OH&S andthe government would probably put speed cameras down the straights.

The onboards are fantastic.

Absolutely frightening how they judge braking, turn-in, looking for the apex
