BTCC game

Hey everyone

I ahve noticed that the makers of RACE and RACE 07 have confirmed to be the official manufacturers of the STCC game. Now, at Thruxton for the BTCC meeting, VX Racing had an add-on pack of RACE 07 which included the BMW of Prilaulx, the Seat on J Gene and the VAUXHALL OF GIOVANARDI 2007 championship winning car, racing round a couple of tracks for 8.95. I was wondering if anyone knew anything of a BTCC game in the pipe-line. Everyone says there is no interest in BTCC these days, but, there has to be even less in STCC. Your thoughts?...

I heard that Codemasters no longer own or planned to sell the rights to btcc and SIMBIN who make the RACE series were interested.
If you own RACE 07 or GTR2 on PC with the WTCC addon you can download the 2007 and 2008 BTCC skins.
Not all models are available but they have used the existing cars e.g The Halfords Civic and Arkas Astras are on Leon bodies and Integra's use Honda Accords. Vauxhall is available to download too seperatley.
www.nogripracing.com (http://www.nogripracing.com) is the best place to find out more info. You need to register to download but this is a good site with excellent content. Seach the forums for the Vectra.

For the GTR2 addon www.northamericangp.com (http://www.northamericangp.com) and search mods for WTCC 2006 v.2.0. This included WTCC 2006 and 2007 cars. You don't even need to register.


The STCC game will be out this year allegedly and I think it was made over BTCC partly because they had the rights already and they are a Swedish company. Just my guess though.
