Who do you think are the coolest sounding codrivers in the W.R.C., past and present? I have got to say off the top of my dome that Robert Reid and Phill Mills sound quite cool

Phill Mills, definitly. He sounds very good and easy to understand during stages. That's a very important thing while driving as fast as hell!

A great trial of this is the Uoninpohia (I don't remember how to write it) stage of 2004 when Petter made the stage record whie superrallying. The way Phill follows Solberg's speed with the pacenotes is just great, and with those jumps he only choaked once (he only repeated that last note in no time). Definitly, one of the bests codrivers ever.

Giovanni Bernacchini sounds like a Tom Tom, he's perfect xD while I remember Guido D'Amore being very irritating (the tone of the voice, nothing personal ^^ !).

But ye Phil Mills is really awesome, one of the few I can really understand in every word he says.

Phill Mills or Nicky Grist.. but James O'Brien in the IRC has got to be worth a mention... Cool, calm and collected without even a hint of getting flustered.. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BK1uw2NgKuQ&feature=related

;) :D

I think Derek Ringer deserves a place on this list with his scottish accent. That sounds really cool. But for the most impressive codriver i have to say Luis Moya. Really great codriver!

I only speak English so I only really have an understanding of how the words are pronouced by english speaking co-drivers.

Of the current era, Id say its even between Phil Mills and Michael Park dec. Both their voices are calming and dont seem rushed, where as Luis Moya always sounded like he was reading the notes way too fast.
Notable mention to Nicky Grist also.

Luis Moya.

Learning Spanish is worth the effort when you hear Moya's notes.

Jarmo voice is probably the coolest sounding with most confidence.

I also vote for Phil, but half because of how accurate Petter's system is, which is a notch up on Chris imo. But at the same time it has so much info that is hard to remember and take in all at once. On the other hand, Colin system seem to be just about right which also works really well with Nicky's calmness.

With Timo, he raise his voice so much at one point that probably makes me jump if I was the driver, but also a good codriver.

Moya (I speak spanish and I have trouble keeping up with him!)
Timo (you have to love the rises and dips in his voice as he reads the notes)

I think Carlos Sainz and Luis himself is the only person to judge if the reading is to fast ,haha ;)

Roman Kresta's co-driver in the 2005 Ford squad was Jan Tomanek if I'm not wrong.

Beef always had the best cadence, calm and soothing.

But Nicky has always been my favorite. ;)

Luis Moya, the in-car i remember from1993 when Sainz rolled his Lancia on Portugal? Argentina?

The 45 seconds leading up to the crash were amazing sounding notes!

Seppo Harjanne. Too much tobacco to be healthy but his sound is very nice.

Derek Ringer gets a mention too, his accent is just so good.

It's half long I believe, a little long, but not too long. PEtter system has a lot of details for everything.

Luis Moya, no other than him
