Queensland WRC scrapped

I was watching RPM Yesterday and they had info about the Repco sponsoring New Zealand this year and Australia in 2009. Anyway they said that the Queensland plan had been scrapped. Mid New South Wales is looking the area to be at the moment. It would be good to get a Southern Cross type all over again.

I had a feeling that this would happen eventually as nothing has been said about it in ages. But i was looking forward to the WRC coming to my backyard.
