Have been looking for this for a while now but to no avail.

I remember, years ago seeing a picture of Aryton sitting in a Ferrari F1 car sat in a pitlane from what must have been the mid 1980's with a Ferrari mechanic or personnel member leaning in talking with him.

Think it was a black and white pic and dont think it was from a test or anything....perhaps more like he was just trying it for size for curiosity.

Does anyone else remeber seeing this pic or indeed have a link or am I simply imagining this? :)

Thanks in advance guys

Glad its not just me going insane then!

So, does anyone have any links or anymore information as to what this occasion was about at all?

Im not sure if Senna was an F3 driver at the time or by then an F1 pilot.

Im dying to track down this photo once again - any help is hugely appreciated

Senna had a test with the Penske CART team during the 1992/93 off-season during one of Senna's fights with the FIA, in which the FIA were threatening to turn down Senna's superlicence. Senna tested with the Penske team

Senna only tested one indycar, this one:

If anyone can find the Ferrari picture I'd be interested.

It is said that Senna wanted to end his career in Ferrari, but Ron Dennis (CEO of McLaren) stated that he was sure that Senna would have returned to the newly formed McLaren-Mercedes had he lived. Who knows, but the Ferrari photo would have been a classic! Can't wait to see it.

It is said that Senna wanted to end his career in Ferrari...
I've read that as well. His plan, apparently, was to stay with Williams for a couple of years which was as long as he thought they would remain on top, then go to Ferrari, regardless of whether the Italian team were competitive or not. As for many before him, Ferrari was Ferrari, and the lure of racing for them was too much to resist.

About the photo, I don't remember seeing Senna sat in a Ferrari, but I do remember a photo of James Hunt occupying Lauda's seat during (I think) their 1976 championship battle. Lauda was shown playfully trying to pull Hunt out of the car. Just think, but for a Vauxhall contract Hunt could have been a Ferrari driver!

A bald man took a seat in a beauty shop. "How can I help you?" asked the stylist. "I went for a hair transplant," the guy explained, "but I couldn't stand the pain. If you can make my hair look like yours without causing me any discomfort, I'll pay you $5,000.""No problem," said the stylist, and he quickly shaved his head.----------------------------------Looking to buy wow gold? Not so, I am very happy how things worked out for Ferrari and their star Michael. Never liked Senna, he was a bully and rude. When the driver you dislike the most drives for McLaren, it is pure joy as I can dislike them as an entire entity!

No, Schumacher certainly wasn't a bully or rude, was he? Ramming into someone, who had done absolutely NOTHING to him, so that he could salvage the WDC... that certainly wasn't being a bully or being rude, was it? His patented slash & block at the start of each race, that certainly wasn't being a bully or being rude, was it? How about when he figured that he had the pole at Monaco and he parked his car in the road to prevent others from completing a fast lap? No, no way one could consider that being a bully or being rude.

I'll always see Schumacher as a blindingly fast driver, who well understood the technical side of the car. But I'm not buying into some made up fairytale that he was whiter than the driven snow. By his actions over the years, he was one of the dirtier drivers to come down the pike.

Michael was not a bully, he may have been a lot of things, a bully he was not. Senna was a jerk as a person and clearly the most overrated driver in history!

So Schumacher never did any of those things I mentioned? Well, on my TV, he did. I guess I was getting Bernie's double super secret special feed on my set.

As for who was a jerk and who was not, did you know either one of them? Quite likely not. You've presented no data to prove your point on who is rated where in history. You have an opinion, a rather simple fanboi one at that. And an opinion, like a certain part of the anatomy... everyone has one and it stinks.

Remember an episode with EI? As for data, that is easy but it maybe beyond you!
