Motor-RACING legend Mika Hakkinen and his girlfriend fled in their dressing gowns when fire ripped through his villa.
The 39-year-old ex-Formula One champion and his lover were both alseep when the blaze began at his £6million 10-bedroom home in the South of France.
They taken to hospital in nearby Frejus where both were said to be shaken. The fire took three hours to put out.

Somebody didn't get the facts right ;) Iltalehti told things a bit different.

Mika was nowhere near the fire, he was in Italy. There were two momen and a dog. Dog unfortunately died.

Evidently not so happily - Mika & Erja divorced earlier this year (in February, I think).

Yeah, like it could open the door and shout everybody FIRE FIRE.

Because the dog couldn't get out through the same door or window where the people went out?!
And last time I checked dogs were know for barking when in danger, and very loud on top of that.

Actually Mika had named the dog Mike but dont know who after.

That's what I was wondering too, why would someone name his dog "Mike"?! Must be some Finish habit.

Can you simply tell if Runescape (http://www.usfine.com/Runescape-Powerleveling-c-90.html) is a great game maplestory powerleveling (http://www.usfine.com/Maple-Story-PowerLeveling-c-98.html) or not without you becoming a member? The answer to that would be, NO! Well you can make a few predictions about Runescape (http://www.usfine.com/Runescape-Powerleveling-c-90.html) and see the moral of the game when being a regular user and not a member but becoming a member brings a whole lot of additions to Runescape that you would never see if you were not a member. Being a member of Runescape (http://www.usfine.com/Runescape-Powerleveling-c-90.html) has so many benefits and I will try to list them all here for you. Runescape tells you them, but I'm going to detail it a few features for you here. runescape money (http://www.money-runescape.net/)

Must have been a stupid dog.

When you hear of young children/toddlers/babies that sadly die in fires, do you consider them stupid also? Babies can scream the house down, but if you can't get to them, is that their fault?

I think it safe to assume the same can be applied to a dog.

You've been watching too much Lassie or The Littlest Hobo to think dogs are superhuman. :p :

I assume that you know squat about animals.

That's right. I don't know that animals are not affect by smoke inhalation, they can see in thick acrid smoke filled rooms, they are not affected by intense heat, they can open locked doors, smash windows, call 911.

Had it occured to you the dog in question may not have been in the same part of the property in question than the people?

Can you answer my question by the way, rather than dodge it? ;)

That animal knew about the fire as soon as it broke out and was the very first to get to his masters, and if the masters could flee than there was no reason for the dog to remain inside.
For a dog to remain inside it is very very strange!

If you think that humans have better senses than animals than you believe in Superman, I don't.

There's your answer.
