Do you wish that the Long Beach Grand prix guys would participate in the Indy 500, to properly say goodbye to Champcar. That would be awesome, Vasser, Tagliani, Annahla, Montagny.

I wish Champcar was still around.Their were good drivers in that series.You may not have know their name but their talent stood out.Talent is what counts in my book.

I wish alot of things:

> I wish Forsythe and Walker Racing were still going...
> I wish Laguna Seca, Road America and Cleveland were on the schedule...
> I wish the Atlantics would replace Indy Lights...
> I wish the cars were safer and the performance gap was smaller...

But you watch the race that's on, and not the one you wish was on...

I still believe this will be the best Indy 500 in years...

I wish the IRL schedule was better. Way too many boring ovals. Can't comment on the cars as it isnt on free-to-air.

Why would it be a proper goodbye to them when ChampCar/CART were just competitors at Indy until 1995, then stayed away in droves from 1996 onwards??

Long Beach was the perfect farewell, it can't drag on.


All i wish for is the series to be less 'spec' (more chassis & engines) and the pre-2005 qualifying reinstated.

I'm glad that it finally happened, but I wish I still had Zolder, Jerez and Cleveland to look forward to after Indy in addition to Milwaukee and Texas. I was really looking forward to seeing Champcars at Jerez. I don't really miss many of the CC street races, however I'm totally jonesin' for a real roadcourse race already.

Patience, patience, patience. I keep telling myself be patient.

I'm hoping the coverage of the ALMS is decent tomorrow.

I'm sure those guys would love to be there, but what does Champ Car have to do with anything?

They want jobs to make money, not to say goodbye to something.

I wish drivers where judge on their talent.I'm so sick of all the hype for the two American drivers, Rahal & Danica.Rahal has talent but Wilson is better,Doornbos was better,Neal Jani is better(A1 champ) Simon Pagenaud is better(Mazda Atlantics Champ).But they didn't get rides.Danica is so average and her stats prove it.
