Being a Sterling fan, this is wonderful news. The addition of Panasonic as a partner will secure the #14 teams future. I expect big things from Sterling in '07 and the Ginn team could be a surprise contender.
Is Hiro Matsushi ta, who is part of the company, the same one that raced in Indycar during the early/mid nineties? Seem to remember his car being run in the Panasonic livery when he had that huge crash with Jacques Villeneuve at Phoenix...

Matsu****a?
Oh no! Sterling's gonna be fined $25,000 & 25 points every race for mentioning his sponsor :D

But good for Sterling.
Has Joe Nemechek even gotten a sponsor yet?

Yep, that's the guy they used to call 'king Hiro.

He got that name, "'king", one day when Emerson Fittipaldi was out on the track during a practice session. He got hung up behind the notoriously slow Hiro Matsushi ta, and when the crew asked him why his lap was so slow, Emmo replied "static'king Hiro". You can fill in for yourself what was covered up by the static. :D

Hiro also owns the Swfit Engineering company, manufacturer of race cars, formerly a race wining chassis in CART/Champ whatever it was then and now in F Atlantic.

Actually Sterling Marlin's car will have Panasonic Broadcasting on his Ginn Racing #14 car. :D

As to Joe Nemechek's sponsor, the search continues & he could be the "oddman out". :s

Panasonic is a wholly owned subsidiary of them.

That is true Ben but the name on the car will be Panasonic Broadcasting.
When Sterling is interviewed he will promote Panasonic Broadcasting when it is on his car. (24 races)
Sterling Marlin will NOT mention Matsush*ta.

It would be like a driver saying his Daimler-Chrysler ran well,
they don't say that, they say their DODGE ran well ! http://www.motorsportforum.com/forums/images/icons/tongue-anim.gif
