What ever happened to that thing? I can't find any information on it post-2002. You'd think it would have come up with all that COT safety talk?

I think from Humpy's perspective it made sense. Why spend money to retrofit the tracks to be cheaper, when you can make the cars safer and pass the spending onto someone else.

Another interesting point is that a SAFER Barrier only softens an impact with the wall. The Humpy Bumper could soften both car-to-wall and car-to-car crashes.
