Well, he does wreck equipment on a regular basis, so bad news IMO. Why are you a fan? Just curious....

Simmons drove from the back to the front numerous times last season and I like to see that aggressive driving even if it doesn't always pay off at the end of the race. Foyt seems to agree:

"I'm glad to be working with Jeff again. I like the way he drives and the way he hustles the car pretty hard which is what I look for in young drivers," said Foyt.

Well, he could be fired after saying Foyt "had a senior moment" because he forgot to wave the green flag on Simmons's qualifying run.
