Power to Weight Ratios 25 Pounds Fuel With Driver (150 pounds)

F1 1.69
CC 2.36
IC 2.61
GP2 2.52

Initial Acceleration is primarily related to the Power to Weight ratio so the GP2 would have a slight advantage.

Above 100 MPH the aero drag becomes a much larger factor and here the IC has a lot more variability than the other 3.

If you took an IndyCar in speedway trim it would accelerate much quicker than GP2 in a 1/4 mile drag, but with both in max downforce it could be a lot closer, actually they are very similar. The F1 car is in a class of it's own.

Is it possible to create a formula where you could get into that performance class (under 2), without getting into that financial class? It should be possible, right (CART late 90's)? That's what I'd like to see, but ovals necessitate a more massive car, I suppose.

BTW, aren't your ratios "weight to power"?
