Is it me or did W.R.C.com have rally forums that you had to get "W.R.C. plus" to gain access to? And does anyone find it strange the apparent lack of forums for rallying? And does anyone find it strange how W.R.C.com has gone down in quality in comparison to about 2002/2003?

Why you want a forum at wrc.com when you have the best rally-forum on earth in here :p :

You might want to check this site for a bit.

I don't think it's strange, but has to do more with the sports' popularity. No, as another member on this forum has on his signature, "stupid rules make for stupid consequences."

What rules?
WRC regulations.

Makes it expensive for new manufacturers to get involved and for unbalanced competition.

WRC.com have introduced then removed a discussion forum more than once I think!

You can hardly blame them. There'd be nothing positive on it. It would all be negative towards the WRC - and with justification. In the general sporting calendar - the WRC is an irrelevance, were Joe Public isn't interested!

True, forums on official sites are always problematic, you get the powers that be logging in to see what's happening and all they get is tonnes of threads slagging them off, so it's no surprise when they get shut down.

I may well be biased but I think official sites should steer clear of discussion forums, it's best done by the fans themselves.
