CMR2 has kinda taken a backseat last few weeks. Have had a GCSE, exams and work to do, and when I was gaming I've been on DiRT or Forza 2.
I'll try and do all the BRC events that I can and will do the WRC events that I have time for too.
whoa! 3 rallies in 3 weeks. Heavy stuff! Pass the Red Bull! NOW......

I've been hunting Sardinian trees yesterday evening - and managed to hit a lot of them... I've been switching between more drive to the front wheels and more drive to the rear wheels all the time and I haven't figured out yet what's faster. And when I see the times set on these stages last year, I have no clue where to find the missing seconds. Don't the stages in your versions of the game have corners???

Try starting at neutral or biased forward
Kabouter- I had a revelation when I set the suspension at -5. The car was really easy to drive and ignored all bumps, ridges, etc on the landscape. Now I'm on PS1 and you are on PC, so that tip ma not translate.
Brake early on the turns and absolutely glue the car to the entrance/exit. I have the brake bias at -2 front. You may want to contact Marcel directly for PC applicable tips...

Mirrored
sorry to ask, but the calendar shows Greece(M) not Italy for Sardinia. Is this true?

Yes-Greece Mirrored (not Italy)
Sadly, this is a gravel rally-not tarmac
You can wait for the straight and narrow, Tannat. Keep up the good work on the dirt.
thanks for the setup info Tannat it works!

I'll try your tips on my PC as well, Tannat, and see if I can do shakedown tonight. So far I've gone with suspension -3, but let's see if setting it at -5 changes the handling significantly.
Since the Monte I've always had the braking and drive biased to the rear, because that was the only way I was able to get the car round the corners. In Mexico I first experimented with using more front wheel drive and it worked there. It didn't work in Argentina at all so I went back to more drive to the rear. But for this rally the changes to these settings don't seem to make a big difference in stage times.

Good luck, kabouter..
believe the PC is far more fickle with setups than PS1..
