didn't thommo destroy his evo 8 there in 04, where you duck back into the trees?

his notes are relatively simple. am a bit surprised he doesn't want more info, actually. no wonder you sound so calm - you've got bugger all to do!

That stage is Ridgetops. Thommo's crash was in the Forties stage. It's in the same forest complex though. The hump where we duck back into the trees has claimed a lot of cars though. Cody knocked his boot lid off there in 2004 when he got all crossed up. And yes the logs suck!

Scott's notes are pretty straight forward which suits me just fine!

Considering the last few years and the season reviews out on DVD that is probably what they will release.

It rubbish the review they put out so this year I've downloaded all the coverage and have stuck it on a few dvd's myself.

Hope they will add some good inboards this time the bumper cams on Solberg and Gardemeister in New Zealand and Sardinia and inboard with Grönholm on Panzerplate was a bit boring and the inboards on Sweden have always been bad quality but would love to have some on Rally GB, Australia, Argentina and Monte Carlo. The inboards and behind the scenes are the only reason i buy it the rallys i have taped by myself for the last five years.

The ITRC 2006 video uses Riverdance (yes, that's the name of the song as well) and the second one is Armagedon's theme. Haven't seen a proper name for it yet.

The pilot had bruises, one rib broke fortunately nothing serious. The co-driver was unhurt.

That was a nice stage for them. Unusual pacenote system they seem to use in AU. Most ones I hear have the gears as to describe the gradient of the turns ahead.

Here's an in-car stage from the Suncoast Classic Tarmac Rally that was held in Queensland, Australia, last weekend. The car is a 1979 Holden Commodore with a dry sump 355 cubic inch V8, 4 speed straight cut dog box, big brakes and a decent diff. It's got 450 hp at the wheels and a LOT of torque.

Since the famous special stage Bjälverud is on its way back into the swedish rally again, its time to refresh our memories! Bjälverud - or Sotunna as it is called by by the drivers - is swedens answer to Ouninpohja. Its very fast and every one wants to be fastest! All of you who has been there, knows what Im talking about.

I have dig up one of my old VHS-tapes from 1999. The stage hasnt benn used in this form since 2000.

In the film its the famous bend before the finish line. Its absolutley flat out on 6th gear an this is a place where you really can see the confindence if the drivers! So - take a good look an listen to their engines. But most of all - look att the break lights. Tomas Rådström is the last car... this is why he always will be the king for me! (he breaks after the finish line...)
